Leading the Hong Kong Jewels & Jadeite sale in May, Phillips is thrilled to present an exceptional and magnificent sapphire and diamond necklace by Bulgari. The jewel is set with an unheated royal blue sapphire weighing 118.35 carats, and is one of the largest faceted sapphire ever to appear at auction. Coming to the market for the first time from a private collection, this magnificent necklace from Bulgari was realized in 2004 after the house came into possession of an exceptional and rare blue sapphire from Sri Lanka.
